NES Cartridge External SSD CUSTOM BUILDS FOR SALE

The console came on the market in the late 1980s. One won't likely find NES cartridges in mint or new-in-box (NIB) condition. Many of them are going to be in fair shape at best. My preference is to buy a cartridge with the label and cartridge as close to new in appearance as possible. 

A minor modification to the interior of the cartridge is necessary to fit the solid state drive inside of it. This is a permanent change that cannot be undone.

One must remove the circuit board with the game content in order to install the SSD. The cartridge no longer contains the game at this point -- now it's an external solid state drive that only looks like a game cartridge. 

As a favor to the customer, I will format the drive as a single volume so that when the drive is plugged into a computer it may be recognized by the operating system. This also allows me to confirm the SSD is functioning.

SSDs are verified in working order before I send them to you. Any defects in the materials are detected and addressed in our shop.  

I would be happy to work with you using an NES cartridge you already have. This ensures you'll have the enclosure you want, and it saves you some money. Just remember that the game board will be removed, so the cartridge cannot be used in an NES console any longer.
